Makro Racer quick beach test by Andrew

Gary from Gary's detecting kindly lent me his Racer Metal detector to do a personal review on my local beach using the Beach Mode with the standard  11 x 7” DD stock coil.

The Makro Racer arrived today
First impressions are pretty good, I believe it is priced around the £500 price bracket and would say looking at the overall build quality it is priced correctly.

 

New machine from Nokta-Makro coming soon

The machine is called the Racer, early pictures show a very clean display with some neat functions.

We will be testing it very soon.

I have been loaned the Nokta Fores CoRe  with the standard stock coil by Gary and have decided to do a personal review.

The manual comes as an A5 booklet in  6 languages. As the manual and detector was on loan I decided to download the manual from the Nokta Detectors website and print out to prevent  damaging  Gary’s booklet.

It is clearly a very well thought out and designed instruction manual in perfect English. One of the easiest I have come across for a while.
