Deeptech Vista Mini Max first pictures

Here we have the latest prototype from Deeptech, it is called the Mini Max.
This machine is based on the original Mini with one or two neat additions, including a frequency change, it is now running on 18 Khz.

As always with the Mini range the controls are very simple
The Mini Max has an added discrimination control which even at maximum will only reject Iron.

Out and about with the metal detectives detecting club

I had a good day at the metal detectives metal detecting club, everyone made me feel very welcome and I have to say the organisation was very professional.
Before every dig all members attend a team talk and induction, club rules are emphasised and dig boundaries are highlighted on maps which are allocated to every member.

Xp Goldmaxx Power Vs the Deus Lite

Many people ask me which machine is the best, the Goldmaxx Power or the Deus Lite
They both fall in a similar price range so I can understand why some confusion may arise.

Testing The Fisher F19 Metal Detector

I finally got a chance to test the new Fisher F19, my test  machine was supplied by Joan Allen in Biggin Hill, everything fitted together with ease and it looked very professional and fit for purpose. First impressions were good, the Fisher F19 felt very well balanced and extremely light.

Metal detecting with the Nokta Fors Core on the beach

Review By Andrew (impos1)

I have been loaned the Nokta Fores CoRe  with the standard stock coil by Gary and have decided to do a personal review.

The manual comes as an A5 booklet in  6 languages. As the manual and detector was on loan I decided to download the manual from the Nokta Detectors website and print out to prevent  damaging  Gary’s booklet.
It is clearly a very well thought out and designed instruction manual in perfect English. One of the easiest I have come across for a while.
